My choice for Best CMS for SMB (small to midsize business) for 2012 (and the one that will be my #1 recommendation in this category until next years awards) is DotNetNuke!

Congratulations to everyone at DotNetNuke for their awesome work. DotNetNuke is an open-source project and one of the most widely adopted Web Content Management Platforms for building websites and web applications on Microsoft .NET.

Organizations use DotNetNuke to quickly develop and deploy interactive and dynamic websites, intranets, extranets, and web applications.

The DotNetNuke platform is available in a free Community Edition and the subscription-based Professional Edition and Enterprise Edition with an Elite Support option.
