If you are a photographer who's been looking for a slick new CMS for either a portfolio site or an online gallery for your work, you are about to witness what could potentially be the most impressive looking CMS we've ever seen for these purposes.
Ladies and gentlemen, check out Koken:

If you aren't drooling after watching that, then head on over to their website and sign up to be notified when the upcoming public beta of this amazing looking CMS for photographers is released.
According to what we've been able to glean so far, Koken is a web site publishing system developed for photographers, designers, artists and creative DIYs. The system is self-installable on your own server and features robust photo management, essays, custom pages, live site previewing and editing, plus plenty of tools to build your own custom themes.
The free public beta is due soon so you can either jump on the mailing list or follow them on twitter to get informed. I know I didn't waste any time signing up.
What do you think? Does this look like it could be the next big thing for photographers?
