Video creation platform Clipchamp becomes part of Dropbox Extensions, scales US presence

Global video creation platform Clipchamp today announced it has been named one of Dropbox’s new Extensions partner apps, as the company continues to scale its presence in the US market and plans to open an on-the-ground office to manage high-calibre partnerships locally.

Dropbox introduced Extensions in late 2018 to reduce app switching for its users by enabling them to take action on files stored in Dropbox. Now, Dropbox has expanded and updated its partner apps to include a new Clipchamp integration. Users can utilize Clipchamp to efficiently and seamlessly create, edit and publish high-quality videos right from Dropbox’s new desktop app and dropbox.com.

With over eight million registered users worldwide, Clipchamp provides all the tools needed to produce beautiful and impactful video content without relying on expensive equipment, complicated software or any previous video production experience.
