BuddyPress 1.2.9 has been released and includes fixes related to the new version of jQuery (1.6.1) that comes packaged with WordPress 3.2. These changes affect the javascript and ajax behaviors in the bp-default theme. You can read more about them on the WordPress development blog. If your BuddyPress site runs bp-default (or a child theme of it) you’ll need to update to BuddyPress 1.2.9 immediately after updating to WordPress 3.2.

A new release of WordPress is available. This update is a major one in that it brings with it some significant changes to the CMS.  What changes can you expect? Read on.
<h3>Redesigned and Streamlined Dashboard</h3>
As you can see in the image below, the dashboard has been reworked to provide a more streamlined experience:

The new dashboard seems quicker in our trials and certainly offers a more visually appealing look with improved typography and, according to the release announcement, improved code in the back end.
<h3>Improved Post Editor</h3>
Undeniably, the most important part of WordPress is the post editor and this has been improved as well. You'll notice a smoother, slicker post editor with a number of new features such as Fullscreen Mode which Matt Mullenweg describes as ..
<blockquote>…my personal favorite feature of the release. All of the widgets, menus, buttons, and interface elements fade away to allow you to compose and edit your thoughts in a completely clean environment conducive to writing, but when your mouse strays to the top of the screen your most-used shortcuts are right there where you need them. (I like to press F11 to take my browser full-screen, getting rid of even the OS chrome.)</blockquote>

In full screen, as you type, the top controls fade away which allows you to see only the text as you type. This is a very cool new feature that should help inspire writers by removing potential distractions.

WordPress 3.2 has been released

It's not often we see derivatives of WordPress coming to market so we decided to introduce you to this interesting project called MongoPress.
Here's the introduction from their website:

Build a Social Network easily with Drupal Commons

ImpressPages CMS 1.0.9 was put to the test for some time and now, thanks to many community members it's now ready for a stable release. From now it's even lighter, fully jQuery backed-up (no more ExtJs), a few plugins were implemented to the core together with some small bits of new nice things.
<h3>Yes to jQuery, No to ExtJs</h3>
ImpressPages CMS 1.0.9 no longer depends on ExtJs library. It was thrown away completely. From now ImpressPages CMS is ~5 Mb and ~600 files smaller when installed.
In this version we focused on menu management. Till now Menu management was made on ExtJs library and iframe communication. It is based on jQuery and AJAX now. About 6000 new lines of code were written.
<h3>Copy and paste easily</h3>
Due to high usage and a number of requests the functionality of “Copy content” plugin was integrated to the core of the system. Therefore, “Copy content” plugin is not required anymore.
<h3>Share the data between websites</h3>
Another good thing – configuration file “remotes.php”. It allows to set up remote websites that are built on ImpressPages 1.0.9 and import data from them. More information is available at http://www.impresspages.org/docs/configuration/menu-management-configuration/

Drupal 7.4 has been released as a maintenance release of the popular open source content management system. We're not entirely sure why they chose to release 7.3 and 7.4 side by side as opposed to just calling it 7.4 and being done with it, but hey, all that matters is that there's a new release right?
The fourth maintenance release of the Drupal 7 series. Only bugfixes have been committed. No security fixes are included in this release. New features are only being added to the forthcoming Drupal 8.0 release.
This release includes the security fixes from <a rel="nofollow" href="http://drupal.org/node/1204628">Drupal 7.3</a> which was released alongside Drupal 7.4. No additional security fixes are included.

Drupal 7.4 released, introduces plenty of fixes

The new OpenCms 8 contains a greatly improved user interface for content managers and numerous other enhancements. The “Advanced Direct Edit” mode allows content managers to create page content by drag &amp; drop. The new sitemap editor allows creating new pages and rearranging the navigation tree by drag &amp; drop.
OpenCms 8.0.1 is a maintenance release that fixes a number of issues that persisted in the initial release of OpenCms 8. Some new features have been added as well.
The sitemap and ADE configuration has been greatly simplified and improved. The properties of a page can now be modified directly in the ADE editor and a “log out” option has been added to the its menu.
In the sitemap editor there is a new option to go back to the last page viewed in the ADE editor. Moreover the sitemap editor now displays the lock status of pages and sub-pages and handles lock conflicts.
The full text search now also works on MS Office Open XML based documents (.docx, .xlsx, .pptx).
To demonstrate a possible multi language setup, German content was added to the Template III flower showcase.
OpenCms 8 is fully backward compatible to all prior 7.x versions. Templates and other OpenCms developed code from version 7.0 or 7.5 should work “out of the box” with version 8.
An easy to use update wizard is available, too.

WordPress 3.1.4 is available now and is a maintenance and security update for all previous versions.
