Crownpeak Appoints Samuel Monti as Chief Executive Officer
Monti is set to lead the fast-growing digital experience platform provider through its next phase of expansion, with a key focus on innovation and driving customer value.

The digital experience platform (DXP) just announced that Samuel Monti – a seasoned industry veteran and former CFO of Epicor Software – has assumed the mantle as Chief Executive Officer.
The news comes at a pivotal moment for Crownpeak, which continues to hold a steady position in the Niche category of the Gartner Magic Quadrant for DXPs. As the competitive field becomes more crowded and features commoditized, DXPs are looking for new ways to enhance their marketability – namely, with AI and composable solutions.

Evidenced by its recent partnership announcement with Netlify, the company is tapping the fabric of Netlify's cloud-based web hosting and deployment capabilities – and building on a shared vision for delivering composable solutions.

A finance pro with software chops
Monti is an accomplished leader with nearly three decades of experience in finance, operations, and C-suite leadership in both public and private equity companies.
Prior to Crownpeak and Epicor, he served as CFO at Khoros, a customer engagement platform, and Mitratech – a software service provider specializing in compliance, risk, legal, and enterprise HR.
According to the press release, Monti will be tasked with expanding the company’s successful growth, driving operational excellence, and cultivating technological innovation to deliver greater value for customers.

Monti received a BS in Accountancy from Miami University and an MBA in Finance from Case Western Reserve University.
