All content changes can now be automatically A/B tested, by any content creator. Personalized content can be tested against its default control base content. Advanced optimization experts also have all the tools they need to set up sophisticated test scenarios, like multi-variate tests, built into the platform. So every component and every channel can be fine-tuned for performance, continuously.
Dynamic Segmentation &amp; Automation: Sitecore enables target segments to be created based on any information in the Experience Profile – like demographic data and behavior – for real-time content personalization, email communication, and automated nurturing campaigns. Sitecore Commerce Unveiled: the First Enterprise-grade eCommerce Integrated .NET CXM

Nuxeo, the Open Source Enterprise Content Management (ECM) company, today announced that it has seen significant growth in the ECM marketplace – particularly in North America. In 2009, Nuxeo more than doubled its revenue, launched several new products and features developed in conjunction with the open source community and won several industry accolades. The open source document management company also now has expanded to 50+ employees in Paris and Boston and more than 50 partners worldwide.
“Our experience over the past 12 + months in North America is that there is a large segment of the market that want the breadth and depth of larger content management systems from first generation ECM vendors such as EMC, IBM, Open Text and Oracle – but today they require more modern, extensible architectures and lower overall costs,” said Eric Barroca, CEO of Nuxeo. “Our appeal is a feature rich ECM platform and packaged applications that address the architectural and functional needs of large enterprises, but are also easily deployable in a wide range of environments and extended and developed by customers themselves.”
2009 highlights include:

– Revenue Growth: In line with its growing subscriber base, Nuxeo has seen a 285% growth in 2009 revenue compared to close of 2008. This validates the company's strategy to deliver an open source ECM platform as a foundation for content applications. This growth also demonstrates a successful expansion into the North American market and ability to compete with and beat proprietary and open source ECM vendors alike. With demand for Nuxeo Connect subscriptions on the rise, the Nuxeo revenue mix has shifted to more packaged support and maintenance deals. At close of 2009, Nuxeo's revenue is largely driven by its subscription offering.
– Galaxy Partner Program launched – 50 partners — integrators and application providers — have signed up for the Nuxeo Galaxy Partner program since its launch in July 2009. The Nuxeo Galaxy Program gives business and field experts the ability to package their knowledge and offer both horizontal and vertical applications, designed to meet specific content management challenges. Galaxy partners deliver their domain expertise and solutions to their customers as well as to the broader, ever growing Nuxeo community.
– Significant community contributions – Nuxeo was able to expand its product in a number of meaningful ways including through contributions from its open source community. For example, Nuxeo added support for OpenSocial through the contributions of one of its larger customers Leroy Merlin with the Nuxeo DM 5.3 release in October 2009.
– Gained industry accolades – Nuxeo continues to be recognized by leading publications and win awards. 2010 also off to a record start with the releases of Nuxeo DAM and Nuxeo Studio. The Nuxeo Digital Asset Management offering, Nuxeo DAM, helps organizations catalogue, process, store, retrieve, and distribute rich media content, including images, audio, and video. Nuxeo Studio is the configuration and customization environment for Nuxeo EP, Nuxeo DM and Nuxeo DAM. Nuxeo Studio is available to subscription customers to help them accelerate application building with a simple web-hosted design tool. Nuxeo DAM is driving new deals early in 2010, with the first closed contract achieved within 30 days of product launch.

Nuxeo Gains Record Number of New Customers and Partners

Nuxeo, the provider of a content management platform for business applications, today announced the availability of Nuxeo Platform 5.8, a major Long Term Support version of the open-source content management platform. With advances in workflow, content synchronization, and REST APIs, this version is a major step forward for developers and product managers who build content-centric applications to manage business information.
An accumulation of three previously released 5.7.x Fast Track versions, this new version contains a host of new features and enhancements for developers, administrators, and end-users that have already been fully vetted by early adopters in the Nuxeo community. Nuxeo Platform 5.8 includes a new set of resource-oriented endpoints for the REST API, adaptive capabilities for the integrated workflow engine, improved processing and navigation of digital assets, and Nuxeo Drive, a desktop synchronization client for the Nuxeo content repository.
In addition, this version benefits from the initial groundwork for nuxeo.io, the upcoming PaaS offering, with expanded REST API endpoints and increased flexibility for quickly building web applications.

Hyland, an enterprise content management (ECM) and process management provider, <a href="https://news.hyland.com/hyland-enters-definitive-agreement-to-acquire-alfresco/">announced</a> that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Alfresco Software – an open source content services platform.
Both vendors appeared on the <a href="https://www.hyland.com/en/explore/gartner-magic-quadrant-for-content-services-platforms#:~:text=In%20its%202019%20Magic%20Quadrant,vision%20and%20ability%20to%20execute.&amp;text=For%2010%20years%20in%20a,(ECM)%20and%20content%20services.">Gartner Magic Quadrant for ECM in 2019</a>, with Hyland ranking as a “Leader” in the overall category. With Alfresco firmly in a challenger position, the combination brings a number of market-leading advantages to Hyland’s global growth strategy – particularly as it looks to the cloud.
“With this acquisition, Alfresco brings significant geographic and industry experience to Hyland, as well as an open-source community as a new source of product innovation,” said Jay Bhatt, president and CEO of Alfresco. “Both companies share the same passion for customer success and innovation and together will offer increased value for customers and partners.”
Hyland’s news is the latest in a recent “buying spree” that’s been playing out across the digital experience landscape. In just the past few months alone, <a href="/acquia-launches-new-open-digital-experience-platform/">Acquia received a major investment from Vista Equity Partners</a>, <a href="/episerver-to-acquire-optimizely-the-worlds-leading-experience-optimization-platform/">Episerver announced</a> plans to buy Optimizely, and just last week <a href="/nordic-capital-invests-in-siteimprove-plans-international-expansion-and-development/">Nordic Capital acquired 70% of Siteimprove</a>.

Traditionally, there have been gaps in the offerings of legacy CMS providers and newer cloud-based solutions, meaning an enterprise would be need multiple CMSes, each serving a different purpose. With the new authoring hub, Contentful is one step closer to providing an agile CMS solution which can handle the needs of all digital business teams, initiatives, and channels, with the UI custom-tailored to each.

The authoring hub solves three critical problems – content creators can produce all content in one place; third-party tools and data-backed insights can be embedded directly into the authoring environment; and developers can easily deliver content across all digital channels and customer touchpoints. The new feature set is comprised of:

<li>Rich Text Editor (RTE) – a modern implementation of the classical concept: author content in an intuitive way, while delivering it in a structured format.</li>
<li>Customizable Sidebar – helps teams be more productive by exposing the tools and data they need within the authoring environment.</li>
<li>Extension Framework – provides modern tooling, including a newly open-sourced Contentful design system, for easily building, styling, and deploying in-app widgets and service integrations.</li>
<li>GraphQL API – a query format that enables developers to turn siloed backends into streamlined, high-performance apps and websites.</li>

The Authoring Hub builds on the Contentful <a href="https://www.contentful.com/use-case/content-hub/">Content Hub</a>, which enterprises use to aggregate all of their content in one place and easily update, audit, or share it on any platform. With a wide partner network, Contentful also achieved Amazon Web Services (AWS) Digital Customer Experience (DCX) Competency status, which recognizes that Contentful provides proven technology and deep expertise to help Digital Customer Experience customers by providing end-to-end solutions for all phases of the digital customer acquisition and retention life cycle.
