Wix Headless opens the door for using Wix Business Solutions with leading web frameworks, including React, Vue, Svelte, Qwik, and others – enabling more partnerships with leading full-stack solutions.
<a href="https://www.netlify.com/integrations/wix/#main" target="_blank">Netlify</a> is the first platform to partner with Wix in offering a quick start integration with Wix's <a href="https://www.wix.com/scheduling-software" target="_blank">Bookings</a>, <a href="https://www.wix.com/event/website" target="_blank">Events</a>, <a href="https://www.wix.com/ecommerce/website" target="_blank">eCommerce</a>, <a href="https://www.editorx.com/features/cms" target="_blank">CMS</a>, and Pricing Plans APIs. Some of the capabilities of these APIs include booking services for classes, courses, appointments, and subscriptions, managing events to create RSVPs, guest lists, selling tickets, and operating eCommerce businesses.
Wix has worked to develop products that enable more capabilities within the Wix platform. <li>Take advantage of a global payments infrastructure: Streamline payments with Payments by Wix to accept payments worldwide. Through Wix's provider platform, developers can connect to payment providers located in South America, North America, Europe, and more, without integrating multiple payment gateways.</li>

Wix Launches New Branded App Builder for Creating Code-Free Native Mobile Apps

Needless to say, it was a touchdown.
Kloss isn’t the first celebrity to promote Wix as the world’s premier website building and content management platform. A quick YouTube search will bring up the likes of Jason Statham and Gal Gadot in a 2017 Big Game spot. And it’s no surprise they can foot the bill for these heavy hitters and massive media buys: at last count, Wix is host to 160 million websites.

This isn’t exactly client or novice coder-friendly, but at least these features do exist.

Pros
Wix has a lot going for it–it’s evolved quite a bit since the days of being a flash-based site with limited options to a full-fledged CMS that can be tailored to professionals in a wide array of industries.
Perhaps the most attractive element of Wix is how visual stunning its templates are. The company has done extensive research on what sells in the restaurant world, as well as what layout an e-commerce retailer would need or what a content marketing blog needs to look like. And they are all a step above the competition. You can even add a touch of artistry with GIFs or animated text.
The aforementioned AI bot Wix ADI has quite a bit to offer, although it’s not perfect. The app can help you with a number of projects such as artist portfolio, creating a payment system for e-commerce, create a contact form, connect your social media and a few more things. Wix ADI is still a work in process but the company is off to a good start in its incorporation of AI into smart website design.

Cons
Some of the negatives of Wix include the fact that, while the CMS has plenty of SEO tools, it’s still not as the level of the likes of WordPress. The company has made great strides in getting to this point, marking a considerable improvement from where it used to be, but it’s not quite there.
Also, the Wix membership feature is very effective for a number of its sites, but it has yet to be integrated with the company’s e-commerce page, which is something Wix is likely to roll out in the near future.
The app also lacks a chatbot support system on your website’s support page, despite the fact that it has a FAQ, email, and telephone information on the “Contact Us” page. Other CMS developers have started working on chatbots, so Wix has a long way to go on this arena still.

It's always been pretty simple to create a blog with Wix but with the release of Wix ADI (Artificial Design Intelligence) it just got a whole lot easier. Let's take a look how easy it is to create a blog using Wix ADI.
Before you get started, you'll need a Wix account which you can get for free by <a href="https://www.wix.com/" target="_blank">signing up</a>.
Once you have a Wix account, log in and click on Create a Website.

You will then be asked what type of website you'd like to create. Click on Blog.

Now you'll be asked if you wish to use the standard Wix editor or Wix ADI. Choose Start with Wix ADI.

Now it's time to tell Wix ADI what type of blog you want to create so it knows what to build for you. For the sake of this tutorial, I'll choose Food Blog.

Wix has unveiled a <a href="http://www.wix.com/wix-lp/bookings" target="_blank">new and totally free app</a> to help service providers of all kinds take automatic bookings via their Wix website.
CMS Critic recently toured the Wix offices, getting to see the <a href="/new-wix-editor-brings-simplified-code-free-web-design-to-the-masses/" target="_blank">brand new Wix Editor up close and personal in the process.</a> Last year, Wix was voted in as the <a href="/the-winner-of-the-2014-peoples-choice-cms-award-for-best-website-builder/" target="_blank">Best Website Builder of 2014</a>.

<a href="http://www.wix.com/wix-lp/bookings" target="_blank">Wix Bookings</a> allows bookings to be taken 24/7, automatically syncing with Google Calendar to keep everything in order across devices.
As soon as a customer makes an appointment, you'll both receive an email notification. Plus, automatic reminder emails will be sent to keep both you and your clients in the know.

The Bookings App works within any <a href="http://www.wix.com/website/templates">Wix template</a>, meaning that any business should be able to make use of it.
Wix Bookings is indeed a good idea, and it looks well put together, too. Essentially, it allows for passive bookings with no real effort needed after installation and configuration. Plus, its free.
<h2>Another One</h2>
Wix Bookings is yet another useful app produced directly by the Wix team.
The <a href="http://www.wix.com/app-market/" target="_blank">Wix App Market</a> is filled with a wide array of functionality boosting tools. But perhaps more impressively, <a href="http://www.wix.com/app-market/made-by-wix" target="_blank">the section dedicated to apps built exclusively by Wix</a> is, in its own right, extensive.
From <a href="/wix-shoutout-goes-live/" target="_blank">WixShoutOut</a> to <a href="/wix-announces-freemium-booking-engine-wixhotels/" target="_blank">WixHotels</a>, the Wix team has outdone itself with the sheer amount of quality apps and vertical solutions that they have produced. That's one thing I've always admired about the platform; there's plenty of extra home-grown functionality.

WixMusic is a commission-free vertical solution that empowers artists to independently introduce, share, sell and distribute their content directly from their Wix website.

I did say it was comprehensive.

<h3>Send WixShoutOut e-mail Campaigns</h3>
WixShoutOut emails can be distributed, and announcements can be made to specified contacts or groups.
<h3>Automate Communications Using Smart Actions</h3>
Rule-based communications can be configured and managed, which are triggered by visitor activities including welcoming new subscribers, thanking customers after purchases, informing customers of special offers and more.
MyAccount offers several pre-defined and customizable Smart Actions which users can choose from or can create their own.

Website owners can access and manage Wix's verticalized solutions including WixStores, WixHotels and WixMusic all from the MyAccount interface.
