The Elgg team have released a new update to the popular open source social networking cms.
Version 1.6.1 brings about the following changes:

<li>Errors on registration with Default Widgets enabled</li>
<li>Broken tag search</li>
<li>Broken “Tools Administration” page when simplecache is disabled</li>
<li>Bookmark links missing</li>
<li>“View friends resources” links not working</li>
</ul>
