A new update to the ridiculously popular open source CMS, Joomla, is now available. Version 2.5.3 is now available for upgrade and brings with it two new security fixes, namely:

</ul>
The update process is very simple, and complete instructions are <a href="http://docs.joomla.org/Upgrading_from_an_existing_version" target="_blank">available here</a>. Note that there are now easier and better ways of updating than FTPing the files.
